This subject strengthens
the students’ language skills with focus on legal terminology and introduces
selected activities that are taken as a given in corporate daily life such as organising/planning,
participating in and chairing a meeting, presenting legal topics to different
audiences, discussing and communicating in a cross-cultural environment,
participating in international events, i.e. conferences etc. The respective
exercises, case studies and role plays combine said activities with business
law topics/terminology/vocabulary.
This subject provides students with an opportunity to develop their communication skills through seminar presentations, role-plays and participatory engagement. Students also examine and consider appropriate processes for a range of corporate situations and engage closely with the respective core processes.
