In
this course, you will have the opportunity to gain an awareness of
how the beliefs, attitudes and values common in a country-culture may
affect communication, cooperation, management and leadership in
organisations and across organisational and country-cultural borders.
You
will also be made aware that countries and organisations are marked by
great cultural diversity (i.e. multiple social group affiliations and
identities) which makes working internationally even more challenging.
Acquiring this awareness is the first step to developing intercultural management competence for your future professional practice.
